Kimberly Jo Anders, of Lincoln, died Thursday, January 12, 2012.
Kimberly is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Desirae, Wenzel, of Lincoln;
daughter, Heather Anders, of Lincoln; brothers and sister-in-law, Steve and Trish Anders, Des Moines, Iowa; Jeff Anders, Des Moines, Iowa; father, William Anders, of Red Cloud, Nebraska; and three grandchildren, many friends.
Kimberly was preceded by her mother, Barbara Anders.
Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home located at 5200 'R' Street, Lincoln. No visitation.

Borgquist, John E.
John E. Borgquist, 60, of Lincoln, died Saturday, January 7, 2012.
He was born in Lincoln on February 21, 1951 to Carl W. and Evelyn (Skiff) Borgquist.
John was a lifelong Lincoln resident. John was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked for Apollo Steel as a welder.
John is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and JoAnn Hunt, of Lincoln; Bill and Janet Hunt, of Lincoln; Bob Hunt, of Lincoln; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Darcy Tompkins, of Lincoln; and many friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home located at 5200 'R' Street, Lincoln. No visitation. Private inurnment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.

Daugherty, Todd Brian
On February 9, 2012, our beloved brother Todd Brian Daugherty, age 56, of Lincoln, passed away and is now with the Lord.
Todd is survived by his grieving brothers, Tom and Tim Daugherty and his sister Dawn. His passing is mourned by countless nephews and nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Charlotte Daugherty of Wilmette, IL. Todd was many things in his life: a skilled athlete, former Army helicopter instructor, pilot for American Airlines and broker for Tampa International. But above all, he was a kind and giving brother who, throughout his life, tried always to help others, whether it was entertaining the residents at a home for the elderly while in high school or most recently assisting at his church which was so dear to him. His sense of humor and innate goodness endeared him to all who met him.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Ms. Meri Lee Andersen, his constant friend and aide, and to Pastor William Hunter who did so much to nurture our brother's faith. An informal gathering in Celebration of Todd's Life will take place at 3p.m. on Friday, February 17th at Calvary United Methodist Church, 1610 South 11th St. in Lincoln. He will be buried with full military honors in his beloved Chicagoland at a later date.

Harold Dean was born on October 30, 1926 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Henry and Leah (Thomas) Ewerth. Harold grew up and spent his entire life on Peach Street surrounded by relatives and friends. He attended Lincoln High School and played semi-professional baseball as a pitcher. He was married to Elaine (Lee) for over 50 years. They had twins, Bradley and Barb, which he devoted his life to. Harold retired from the Lincoln Postal Service in 1990 after 40 years of employment.
Being around family was extremely important to Harold. He was also a lifelong Husker fan, attending home football games for over 40 years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a son and wife, Brad and Sara Ewerth, of Lincoln; a daughter and husband, Barb and Tim Brady, of Omaha; four grandchildren, Lindsay Ewerth, of Phoenix, Arizona; Amanda Ewerth, of Lincoln; Christopher Brady and Lauren Brady, of Omaha; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Gary Maul, of Lincoln.
Preceded in death by his parents and wife Elaine.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home located at 5200 “R” Street. The Reverend Wayne Alloway will be presiding at the service. Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends and relatives from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service at the Funeral Home with Interment then following at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.

Giesecke, Otto Martin
Otto Martin Giesecke, 83, of Lincoln, completed his journey to Heaven on Sunday, February 5, 2012 after a 4-year battle with Lymphoma. He was born on June 28, 1928 in Underwood, North Dakota to Otto F. and Tessie Rose (Peck) Giesecke. Otto graduated from Trumbull, Nebraska High School and attended Milford Trade School. He served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant in the Korean War.
Otto married Donna McDowell in Trumbull, Nebraska on March 22, 1953.
He worked in building maintenance for various schools in southeast Nebraska. He earned a Distinguished Service Award from McDonalds. Otto was a member of VFW (Peru, NE Post). He was an avid Husker fan and enjoyed all spectator sports, especially baseball. He also enjoyed fishing, golf and traveling.
Otto is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law; Robert and Jo Giesecke, of Vero Beach, FL; Bruce and Vicki Giesecke, of Lincoln; daughter, Lecia Edwards, of Winston-Salem, NC; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many friends.
Otto is preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 8th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home 5200 “R” Street, Lincoln with Pastor Rev. Wayne Alloway officiating. Visitation will be 12:00-5:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the funeral home. Family to greet friends and relatives from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 8, 2012 at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Peru, Nebraska with Military Honors.

Hegarty, Gerald M.
Gerald Michael Hegarty, 86, of Eagle, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012. He was born in Upland on April 18, 1925 to John and Margaret (Cahill) Hegarty. He grew up on a farm near Heartwell and graduated from Heartwell High School in 1941. Gerald farmed for many years and later worked as a bio-medical equipment technician for Veterans Administration Hospital in Lincoln before retiring. Gerald served in the U.S. Navy during World War ll. He was a founding member and long time president of AFGE Local #2219 at the Veterans Administration Hospital. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Camilla, of Eagle; sons, John and Michael Hegarty, of Eagle; daughters and sons-in-law, Marjorie and Gary Blankenship of Kearney; Colleen Anderson of Lincoln; Barbara Hegarty of South Bend; Theresa Hegarty of Lincoln; Carolyn Hegarty of Eagle; Laura and John Douglas of Lincoln; Bonnie Suarez of Lincoln; brother, Tom Hegarty of Kearney; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and three brothers.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012, at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home located at 5200 'R' Street, Lincoln. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Heartwell. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Heartwell. Iaquinta, James Vincent
James (Jay) Vincent Iaquinta, 91, passed into eternal life at his current residence in Lincoln, Nebraska, Thursday, February 9, 2012 with his wife Shirley (Weyrauch), and family members at his bedside. Born on December 8, 1920 in Kenosha Wisconsin, Jay moved with wife Shirley to Lincoln in 2010 to be close to his son David Iaquinta, daughter-in-law Pam and grandchildren Sophia, Isaac and Grace. He was preceded in death by parents Leonard and Domenica, son Timothy and four siblings. Also survived by a sister, Angeline; daughter, Alice; sons, James; and Peter and wife Annie; grandchildren, Frankie; Christina and David; four great grandchildren. Many extended family, friends, share in his loss.
A devoted family man and avid golfer, Jay served in the army during WWII. He returned to Kenosha where he was a Meat Department manager with A&P for 30 years, retiring to take his dream job managing Brighton Dale Golf Course for Kenosha County. In his long volunteer service on the Kenosha County Park Board he was instrumental in the planning and construction of several county parks including Brighton Dale and Silver Lake. His last two years in Lincoln were spent at The Legacy with Shirley, his wife of 70 years. Like his rock steady golf game, Jay was always hardworking, dependable and nonjudgmental. He was well liked by all who met him and will be missed greatly by family and friends alike.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Visitation: Friday, February 17, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home (Kenosha,Wisconsin) and one hour prior to funeral service on Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment at St. George Cemetery in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Jacobs, Darlene
Darlene Jacobs, 66, of Lincoln, died Sunday, January 22, 2012.
She was born in Lincoln on March 19, 1945 to Louis and Bessie (Svancara) Chrastil. Darlene was a loving mother and grandmother.
Darlene was survived by her sons, Ricky L. Jacobs, of Lincoln; Anthony R. Jacobs, of Roca, Nebraska; daughter, Richelle A. Jacobs, of Lincoln; granddaughter, Abryana Hallgren, of Lincoln; brothers and spouses, Norm and Laurie Chrastil, of Lincoln; Robert and Betty Chrastil, of Lincoln; sister, Evelyn Hier, of Lincoln; and many friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home located at 5200 “R” Street, Lincoln with Rev. Daryl Lauber officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Wilber Czech Cemetery.

Webb, Sharon Ann
Sharon Ann Webb, 63, of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Pittsfield, IL on November 30, 1948 to Benjamin and Mary
(Stone) Akers. Sharon was raised in Pearl, IL. She moved to Nebraska from Illinois and was united in marriage to Steve Webb on March 2, 1974 in Lincoln. She drove school bus from 1975-1985 for Waverly Schools. She worked for Nebraska Health and Human Services from 1985 to 2012. Her most recent position was an administrative assistant.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Steve, of Valparaiso; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Tim Cheever, of Lincoln; son and daughter-in-law, Geoff and Sheryl Martin, of Waverly; stepson, Mike Webb, of Valparaiso;
stepdaughters and spouses, Teresa Amundson, of Waupaca, WI; Brenda and Bruce Eastman, of Fremont, WI; Elizabeth Webb and Jamie Littrel, of Lincoln; brother and spouse, Gary and Betty Ann Akers, of Donaldsonville, LA; sister and spouse, Frances and David Smith, of Nebo, IL; 20 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers; 1 sister; and stepdaughter.

Utzke, Robert E.
Robert E. (Bob) Utzke, 74, of Otho, Iowa met the Lord peacefully at his daughter’s home, Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
Born on November 13, 1937 in Austin, Minnesota to Robert and Clara (Paul) Utzke. While attending college Robert married Vera Franks on June 14, 1961; with this marriage they had three children. Robert was a pastor from 1962-1976, to many churches starting in Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois and Iowa. During that time he created Bob’s Building Service as a carpenter. In 1976-1978, he worked for Faith Baptist Bible College as a maintenance engineer; 1978-1980, he worked for Honeywell Corporation; 1980-1982, at Johnson Controls; 1982-1989, for Franklin County Hospital as the maintenance engineer. During this time he obtained his E.M.T. certification and drove the ambulance for the hospital. In 1989, he continued his career with Fort Dodge Animal Health as the maintenance engineer. Robert retired in 2002 and he continued his passion in construction with Bob’s Building Service. Robert was remarried on July 5, 1996 to Larie Saliger in Otho, Iowa.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Larie Utzke, of Otho, Iowa; sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. David J. and Shelly Utzke, of Mesa, Arizona; Daniel J. and Kindra Utzke, of Chariton, Iowa; daughter and son-in-law, Doreen J. and Timothy A. Griess, of Firth, Nebraska; sister, Erna Whalen, of Rockford, Illinois; grandchildren, David J. Jr. and Katheryn Utzke; Shelby and Jason Whiteside; Kyle Utzke; Tyson Utzke; Timothy J. Griess; Halley and Colleen Griess; Connor Griess; great grandchildren, Lylla Whiteside, Payton and Jordyn Griess. He had two step daughters and five step grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, Al Whalen.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home 5200 “R” Street, Lincoln with Pastor Mark Meals officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Services will also take place at Otho-Kalo Community Church located at 2503 Nelson Avenue Otho, Iowa; at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will be at Otho Cemetery in Otho, Iowa with Military Honors.
